Dorathy Ijeoma Madukaife is a pharmacist who trained at Kwame Nkrumah University (KNUST) Kumasi Ghana with a Masters in Public Health from Bournemouth University, United Kingdom. She is a philanthropist, passionate health advocate and has always undertaken on a personal level, series of projects that sees to touching lives and bridging access to health inequalities.
Dorthwell was established in 2024 to continue making these health impacts on a much larger scale, with an unwavering determination to serving humanity by creating sustainable initiatives that sees to the wellness of underserved communities. The name Dorthwell is a derivative of Dorathy meaning “tactfulness in creating conditions of prosperity and comfort”.
Ijeoma has garnered much needed experience over time. Upon completion of her education, she worked with National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC). She then gained clinical knowledge at Procare Hospital, Abuja where she was the chief pharmacist. She currently works with Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS). She holds a passion for advocacy and championing empowerment for children, women, the poor and the vulnerable. Her guiding principle – do the good you can and ensure that every voice is heard.
