Period poverty, SDG

Period poverty ~ SDG 5

We believe that the mental impact of gender inequality especially in period poverty is understated. In Africa, at least 1 in 10 teenage girls miss school during their periods. We focus on teens and homeless female who don’t have access to menstrual products and we partner with companies or other organizations of similar interests to provide sustainable menstrual materials to schools and rural communities. Conduct awareness educations on mental impact of period poverty on the female.

OUR ACTION PLAN

Our goal is to ensure that girls and women have access to sustainable sanitary products. We also aim to eliminate all forms of gender based harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and sequelae such as Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) while upholding access to safe, sexual and reproductive rights.
