AN END TO INFECTIOUS DISEASES: MALARIA OUTREACH 2024

On 23rd April 2024, the Dorthwell Foundation collaborated with National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP); the governmental body responsible for malaria control across Nigeria to visit Mpape community. The event was attended by the community local chiefs and leaders. 

We distributed over 1000 mosquito-treated nets and carried out free malaria testing and provided free medications for those who tested positive. The Dorthwell Foundation believe that eradicating malaria is important to bridge the health and economic burden it imposes on healthcare system and families of the affected.
